SUMMARY:EADMFR Junior Meeting
DESCRIPTION:It is our pleasure to invite all junior members to the 9th EADMFR Junior Meeting in Porto\, Portugal\, February 2nd – 5th\, 2025. \nOur aim is to promote DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology in Europe\, and to increase engagement in the academy and interest in the field of DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology among colleagues in specialist training\, MSc- and PhD-studies. \nApproximately 30 junior EADMFR members will have the opportunity to meet\, learn\, exchange experiences and to network. We believe that the Junior Meeting will provide an excellent opportunity for the participants to meet lecturers and colleagues from various countries and to share their knowledge and experiences. We also hope to create a memorable and rewarding experience for all participants. \nSo far\, eight Junior Meetings have been held in \n\nUmeå\, Sweden 2014 \nFreiburg\, Germany 2015\n Lublin\, Poland 2016\nPorto\, Portugal 2017\nBudapest\, Hungary 2018\nIstanbul\, Turkey 2019\nAmsterdam\, The Netherlands 2020\nFreiburg\, Germany 2023 \n\nTo give as many juniors as possible the opportunity to participate\, only those who did not participate in previous Junior Meetings can apply and be accepted. A report from the meeting will be presented by two of the participants to the EADMFR members during the next ECDMFR in Romania\, 2026. All participants of the Junior Meeting are also encouraged to share their experiences of the meeting by preparing a report that they can present at their home departments. \nIf you are a senior member of the academy\, we kindly ask you to inform your younger colleagues about the meeting and recommend them to participate in this excellent opportunity to learn and network. We hope that you and your department will support your young colleagues to take this opportunity and apply for the 9th EADMFR Junior Meeting. \nThe registration website opens on the 10st of September\, and the registration deadline is 30th of September. \nThose accepted to join the meeting will receive notification letters by the 15th of October. \nThe fee will be 175€ for the meeting\, including accommodation when sharing a hotel double room. Those that are not willing to share the hotel room with a fellow Junior member\, must pay an extra fee of 162€\, to cover the extra costs of a single room. \nYou will soon find more information about the admission criteria etc. on the official EADMFR webpage. \nWelcome to apply! \nSincerely\,\nthe Junior Committee of the EADMFR
